Lisbon: Day Two
Diego got in last night around 2am and we proceeded to wander around until about 4am, but our official day started with a huge, free breakfast at the hostel around 10am this morning. It's a good thing too because after that, we wandered around Lisbon for the better part of 12 hours photographing, videoing, and exploring. Absolutely incredible city. I'd ...more»
Photo Picks, Night One
I had headed out to get some dinner and pick up a toothbrush, when the rain started again. It poured, but what did I care? I was inside a beautiful little bakery enjoying some delicious Portuguese goods. As I looked out onto the streets, I noticed the lights that were hung for Christmas were reflecting beautifully off of the wet ...more»
Just Arrived In Lisbon
I just got into Lisbon about an hour or so ago after 14+ hours of traveling. Everything went pretty smoothly though and despite not knowing Portuguese or having any idea of the layout of Lisbon, I still ended up making it to my hostel without really getting lost. I guess luck was on my side. Now I'm just hanging out ...more»
Almost in Portugal: Paris, CDG
I've officially made it to Paris. The flights were fine besides the fact that my height makes it impossible to sleep comfortably even though I had a seat with extra leg room. I have another 2:45 to kill before my final flight to Lisbon and I just found out via Twitter that Diego (@ixDiego) missed his connecting flight to Lisbon ...more»
Dialect, December 2009
Here it is, for all of those who weren't brave enough to venture out in the rain, the video from Dialect at Brew Urban Cafe last night. Despite the torrential downpour, there was still a decent turn out and everyone had a great time. If the video looks like it was taped by Michael J. Fox, I apologize, but I ...more»
Portugal: Adventures Await
I've always had a little dream to spend the holidays abroad. This year it's becoming a reality. As of a day ago, I'm officially spending the holidays in Portugal! And it only gets better because I've recruited one of the best to make the journey with me - my great friend and fellow traveler, Diego. We've had some crazy adventures ...more»
The PETA Protest
On my lunch break, I decided to vespa (it's a verb now, not a proper noun) down to Las Olas where the latest PETA rally was taking place. I had heard whispers and rumors of some type of risque' protest so naturally I couldn't resist...after all, I love a creative demonstration. Well...I'll go ahead and say it, I was disappointed. ...more»
Dialect Exhibition
Next Thursday, December 17, marks the first time that I'll be displaying tangible art. I have a new three photograph series that I'll be showing that embodies different phases of a relationship: lust, restraint, and despair. I'll be displaying alongside some other talented artists with live DJ sets keeping the night pumping...come check it. Brew Urban Cafe Downtown Fort Lauderdale 17 December 2009 8PM ...more»

iPhone Firmware Update Released, I’m waiting on Dev Team.
No, I won't be jumping on the bandwagon and updating my iPhone firmware right now. Do I not crave Google street view, the ability to download podcasts over the air, etc...? Yes I do, but those features aren't even nearly worth me losing what I have with a jail broken iPhone.   I can tether it to my laptop very easily to ...more»
