I had headed out to get some dinner and pick up a toothbrush, when the rain started again. It poured, but what did I care? I just got into Lisbon about an hour or so ago after 14+ hours of traveling. Everything went pretty smoothly though and despite not knowing Portuguese or having any idea of the layout of Lisbon, I still ended up making it to my hostel without really getting lost. I've officially made it to Paris. The flights were fine besides the fact that my height makes it impossible to sleep comfortably even though I had a seat with extra leg room. I have another 2:45 to kill before my final flight to Lisbon and I just found out via Twitter that Diego (@ixDiego) missed his connecting flight to Lisbon

I've always had a little dream to spend the holidays abroad. This year it's becoming a reality. As of a day ago, I'm officially spending the holidays in Portugal!

On my lunch break, I decided to vespa (it's a verb now, not a proper noun) down to Las Olas where the latest PETA rally was taking place. I had heard whispers and rumors of some type of risque' protest so naturally I couldn't resist...after all, I love a creative demonstration. Well...I'll go ahead and say it, I was disappointed.

Next Thursday, December 17, marks the first time that I'll be displaying tangible art. I have a new three photograph series that I'll be showing that embodies different phases of a relationship: lust, restraint, and despair. I'll be displaying alongside some other talented artists with live DJ sets keeping the night pumping...come check it.

No, I won't be jumping on the bandwagon and updating my iPhone firmware right now. Do I not crave Google street view, the ability to download podcasts over the air, etc...? Yes I do, but those features aren't even nearly worth me losing what I have with a jail broken iPhone.
