Recently, I got a chance to check out Fort Lauderdale's newest restaurant and night life offering, SoLita on Las Olas. As I walked up I could already tell I was going to enjoy the ambiance - the bar was beautiful and posh, something that Las Olas is severely lacking. Walking in I was even more impressed, not only was the ...more»
I discovered Sweeter Days Bake Shop two days ago. Since then I've made three trips. On the first trip they were completely sold out, but between the other two trips I've eaten a total of four and a half cupcakes. Simply put, the cupcakes are delicious.
I've devoured the White Chocolate & Raspberry, the Poppies and Cream (my favorite), the ...more»
I love my AirTunes. It's built into my Airport Express router and allows me to plug in speakers and stream my iTunes through the connected speakers instead of just playing it through the computer. But there is a flaw. The only thing I can stream is iTunes - no Pandora, no Blip.Fm - just iTunes.

This past Friday, my friend and fellow Twitterer, Jonathan invited me to hit up the last home game of the Miami Caliente. If you aren't familiar with the Miami Caliente, don't worry, not many people are...but maybe they should be since it is Miami's own lingerie football team.
That's right fellas, a bunch of fit ladies, scantily clad, playing football. ...more»
This is the second week in a row that myself, Evan, and Craig (the pizza expert) have met up to grab some pizza. This week we set out to review The Lodge in Boca after a tip from another Boca local, Joel Kodner.
The quick rundown: cool atmosphere, good beer, horrible pizza, decent fries. A more comprehensive review will be up ...more»
I left the house today completely bundled up, scarf and all, to run a few errands on the Vespa and take in the beautiful, chilly day that is a rarity in Fort Lauderdale. I had just left the bank when my stomach started complaining of neglect. Ok, I'll feed you. I had heard mixed reviews about Eurobread & Cafe, a ...more»
I love food. I love trying new food. I just might be the tall, skinny, hairy version of Andrew Zimmern. With that being said, it pains me to admit that I wasn't a huge fan of Portuguese cuisine. My experience was limited since I was only there for a week and only visited three cities, but I think I was ...more»
On my lunch break, I decided to vespa (it's a verb now, not a proper noun) down to Las Olas where the latest PETA rally was taking place. I had heard whispers and rumors of some type of risque' protest so naturally I couldn't resist...after all, I love a creative demonstration. Well...I'll go ahead and say it, I was disappointed.

Yesterday I finally gave in and decided it was time I stop editing photos with a mouse and start using a tablet. I did my research and decided on the Wacom Bamboo Fun Pen & Touch. Despite the third grade-esque name, the general consensus online was that it was a good starting point for first time tablet users. After a ...more»
It's been quite some time since I actually wrote something, anything. Whether it was on my blog or on in my notebook, pages and posts have remained blank over the past few months. I don't plan on making up reasons for my lack of words, I just plan on remedying this with a short post about what's new in my ...more»
