Sorry, but the problem with your argument is that years from now, Christianity will go the way all the other religions have gone and it will be mere “mythology” as well. Alot of the past is pure fiction thanks to people in power writing what they want to write for people to believe.
As for the movie? This is Thor based on the Marvel series…not the Thor of the Norse Mythos.
